I am a relatively new-comer in the online marketing field. I’ve researched a lot

and have came to the conclusion that although lots of complicated

techniques are discussed and used to optimize.

The only tested and proven methods of internet marketing are

1) Directory Submission
2)Article & Blogs with your links at the end or in between
3)Link Exchange
4)PPC
5)Bookmarking

I would be grateful if someone points out if i m missing some useful technique

till now i have used them for my sites and get positive results.

but still i wonder if seo is that simple and limited to these few methods?
